Data are presented as the mean±S.E.M. Two-way ANOVA with Bonferroni’s posttest was used for body weight, food intake and blood glucose comparisons over the
course of the study. One-way ANOVA with Dunnett’s post-test was used for all other
data comparisons. Pearson's correlation coefficient (r) was used as a measure of the
strength of the association between two variables. Analyses were performed using
GraphPad Prism 5.0 (San Diego, CA, USA). A Pb.05 was considered statistically
significant.
