Other foreign countries such as the U.K., still prohibit or restrict, the ability of parties to enter into prenuptial agreements, at least to the extent they may effect property in the country in question. Canada, on the other hand, has a well established body of case law upholding prenuptial agreements. Thailand also allows prenuptial agreements, subject to specific conditions set forth in the Thai Civil and Commercial Code. These provisions are explained more fully at the end of this article.
