3.6. Strain amplitude response of TPVs in melt state
To characterize the microstructure of TPVs, strain amplitude
sweep was performed at a constant frequency of 1 Hz. Fig. 8 (a
and b) represent the complex modulus versus strain amplitude of
TPVs without and with coagent for two successive strain sweeps.
In all the cases (TPVs) the typical qualitative feature is associated
to the so called Payne effect like behavior; modulus decreases with
increase in strain amplitude. These may be associated with the disintegration
of aggregates and/or agglomerates of crosslinked EOC
