PEU refers to the effort that an individual expects to expend on a target system, or in other words, the degree to which the prospective user expects the target system to be free of effort. In the operational definition, the questionnaire items were modified from the PEU scale of Davis, Bagozzi, and Warshaw and the items included :
! Learning to operate this ARAPP would be easy for me;
! I find it easy to get the ARAPP to do what I want it to do;
! It would be easy for me to become skillful at using the ARAPP;
and
! I find the ARAPP easy to use.The items were evaluated using a seven-point Likert scale. The PEU score was the average of the responses to these items and the Cronbach’s alpha value of these items was 0.90.
