3.3.2. Mechanical properties of normalized specimens
The tensile strengths of the normalized specimens with increasing Ti content are 440, 407 and 391 MPa, respectively, as seen
in Fig. 10. Meanwhile, the elongation of the normalized specimen
reaches up to 23.6%, 6.3% and 4.1%, respectively, meaning that the
mechanical properties of specimens in three steels are improved
after normalizing and the mechanical properties in steel 1 are
significantly improved.
