Study Topic: “The potential competition for the M.I.C.E Industry”
Case study: Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand "aims to study the potential and the competitive advantages of every country to apply for the further business development in the M.I.C.E Industry for Thailand. However, Singapore and Malaysia are already proved to be prominent in this industry, whether it is in terms of infrastructure or the facilities they have.
When seeing the Public Relations and Marketing, Human Resource Development and the knowledge in the technology sector of Singapore, it seems that it is one of the top countries for the M.I.C.E industry and also holds the highest rank in ASEAN. Followed by Malaysia which is developing rapidly in this industry. As a result, Singapore and Malaysia affects Thailand because, although it has the potential and advantages because of its tourism industry and also its culture and traditions. However, Thailand still lacks behind in the development of Human Resources also its infrastructure and facilities.
In conclusion, the government and relevant authorities, must not overlook this industry and take it into a considerations to examine these matters seriously. Therefore, in present or future this will be an opportunity to Thailand to be used as a choice for the M.I.C.E industry and will make Thailand stand in the same or maybe superior level as compared to countries which are already prominent for this industry.
