Police are investigating an allegation of
hat ecrime against world heavy weight
boxing champion Tyson Fury.
Greater Manchester Police received a callearlier after comments made abouth
omosexuality on the BBC's VictoriaDerbyshire programme.
"We take every allegation of hate
crime extremely seriously and we will be
attendingthe victim's address to take a
statement," aGMP spokes woman said.
Manchester fighter Fury beat WladimirKlitschko to claim the world titles.
Fury spoke out on his views about women andgay people after a petition calling for hisremoval from the BBC's Sports
Personality ofthe Year shortlist reached
80,000 names.
The new world champion has also
previously said it would only take the legalisation of paedophilia in addition to
the decriminalisationof homosexuality
and abortion to see

In conversation with Jeremy Vine, he
sought toclarify his comments by saying: "Let's not tryand make me out to be some evil person and Ihate gays because I don't hate anybody. I canactually say I don't
