The objectives for the workshop reflected both participants’ needs and the objectives of the Corporation to build a strong project team. There was a high degree of congruence between both sets of requirements. For example, when asked for one thing that you would change about previous consultant team experiences, participants suggested increasing levels of inclusiveness and ongoing involvement, as well as increasing opportunities to work together as a team with a ‘genuine team approach’. Others asked for ‘automatic respect’ and ‘eager interest in sharing knowledge in a collaborative team committed to delivering a better product that provides economic, social and environmental wins and not ‘pie in the sky’.
