Business Development Assistant Manager
Contribute to the development of QBE’s Product Protection Thailand strategy and business plan to support delivery of business targets.
Monitor and report on progress of new and existing clients, to ensure progress is on target and any deviations from the plan are identified and solutions implemented.
Recommend the resources needed to deliver the business plan to ensure successful achievement of business objectives.
Assist to set up of training program to dealer for new project and refresh training for current project.
Aid in the formulation of the portfolio’s distribution and operational strategy to include planning and implementation of sales and marketing plan, e-commerce systems and call centre functions.
Positively promote the Portfolio and company as a whole, in order to maximise business opportunities.
To assess new opportunities and in conjunction with the Business Manager, determine whether such opportunities are aligned with QBE’s underwriting strategy and business plan.
To assist the Business Manager in the launch of new insurance programmes, ensuring that all terms of cover, processes and procedures are implemented accurately within the agreed timescales and in accordance with QBE’s requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, brokers, business partners and colleagues to support constructive, mutually beneficial relationships, and to ensure that services provided continually adapt to the changing needs o
Manage, service and review the Thailand PP portfolio to ensure progress toward business plan objectives.
Develop the portfolio in line with plan, and in conjunction with the Business Manager an underwriting team ensure retention and acquisition of desired business
Undertake insurance product and / or sales training to business partners.
Ensure all POS and presentation material is accurate, compliant and available for the relevant distribution channel.
Oversee the regular reviews of the credit control, unallocated cash, unclosed premiums and aged debt and dealer statements to ensure that the credit control for Thailand Product Protection Team is kept up to date.
Support other areas as necessary including supervision of the workflow team and assistance with audit and compliancef the business.
Prepare policy wording for new product and submit to regurator
