I. INTRODUCTION Stroke, a cerebrovascular accident, is the third leading cause of death in Thailand. Survivors are often left with disability due to brain damage [1]. Rehabilitation program is usually applied to help patients regain their lost motor functions. Nonetheless, foot-drop symptom still remains in a number of patients. The Foot-drop symptom results from an inability to control tibialis anterior muscle to lift the toe. Therefore, during walking, patients need to compensate this by swinging the affected leg out to the side in order to clear the toe from the floor. This abnormal walking pattern requires more energy and is prone to fall.
