TWO naval vessels that were damaged in a collision with a commercial Japanese ship will soon resume operations after undergoing major repairs.
The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) Commander, First Admiral Pg Dato Seri Pahlawan Norazmi Pg Hj Muhammad, said the repair work for one of the vessels is nearing completion while the other damaged ship is expected to be ready by early 2016.
Despite being short of two vessels, he assured that maritime security is not compromised as RBN continues to carry out sea patrols in Brunei waters.
