Refer to the captioned shipment, please be informed you that we found the
outer packaging was damaged during customs clearance process at Cargo
Terminal before releasing the cargo. Our Shipping has notified the damage
status for DMC Report Application as usual process already.
As the damage was found during Airline’s custody and care so, may we advise
you to start the cargo inspection process?
After finished the inspection, if you found the inner contents are damaged,
please kindly notify us the damage within 7 days (included Sat-Sun) after
clearing date for Original DMC Report Application. Normally, Original DMC
Report Application will be taken time to process around 7 days after the
document submitting date so, once we get it, it will be sent to you as soon.
As the time-bar of claim process to Carrier is allowed only 14 days
commencing from the clearing date, so, if you would like to file the claim
against to Airlines, we may advise you as following; 1. In case the
damaged shipment is under HHE’s consolidation, after you notify us the
damage for Original DMC Report Application already, please send your claim
request to us within 10 days (included Sat-Sun) after clearing date as well.
After get your claim request, our concerned Department will contact you for
claim document required and the further claim process to Airline on your
behalf onward.
2. In case the damaged shipment is not under HHE’s consolidation,
after you notify us the damage for Original DMC Report Application already,
please send your claim request to your Appointed Consolidation Agent within
10 days (included Sat-Sun) after clearing date for requesting them send
claim filing against to Airline on your behalf onward.
