12 morphometric traits from a total of 21 such traits (ANOVA,
p b 0.05).Ofthese12morphometrictraitsaffectedby fishgroup,10morphometric traits were intermediate in hybrids and two were higher in
hybridscomparedtobothparentalspecies.Concerning thetraitswithintermediate values for hybrids, the Tukey post hoc test revealed significant differences (p b 0.05) only between C. gibelio and both C. carpio
and hybrids with respect to 3 traits, only between C. carpio and both
C. gibelio and hybrids with respect to 3 traits, only between two parental
species with respect to 1 trait, and between all pairs with respect to 3
traits.
