The director explained that she knew Jesse’s mother quite wall. As a matter of fact, she was the one who persuaded Jesse’s mother to put Jesse in infant care. Jesse had been difficult since the day he was born. He would cry for no obuious reason, and once he started crying, there was no way to calm him down. Just the other day, she had met Jesse’s mother in the supermarket. His mother thanked her effusively for keeping Jesse at the center. She was beginning to see some changes in his behavior at home. He was becoming somewhat less irritable and a little bit easier to comfort. She attributed the change both to the fact. Jesse was maturing and to the fact that Jesse was maturing and to the fact that Jesse’s caregivers were so good with him.
