Pathum Thani is a province located in central of Thailand, around 46 kilometers from Bangkok. It has an area of 1,565,856 square kilometers, with the Chao Praya river running through the middle of the province. Most of its areas are plain that are suitable for agriculture. In the vicinity of Amphur Muang and Amphur Samkoak, there are many canals, and some of them exist naturally and some have been created under government irrigation projects. Pathumthani province is rich in local arts and culture. It is considered to be one of the most advanced suburban provinces. There are plenty of tourist attractions with many ancient architectural structures such as Wat Pailom, Wat Jedi Hoi, Wat Peuch Udom. There are also amusement park "Dream World" and a Science Museum available for visitors.
