Every choice has some consequences: for example, offering high-level incentives (a choice) has implications regarding the
willingness of employees to exert effort or to cooperate with co-workers (consequences). Likewise, pricing policies (choices) have obvious implications regarding sales volumes, which in turn, affect the economies of scale and bargaining power enjoyed by the firm (as two of its consequences).
