During washing, the quantity of free chlorine lost after exposure times of 10 s (65.1 + 31.7% of loss) and 40 s (73.3 + 20.7%) were not significantly different (p > 0.05), while the losses after 10 and 40 s were determined to be significantly different (p < 0.05) to those after 240 s of exposure (91.6 + 13.5%).
