RESULTS
The PCA of the Cartesian coordinates extracted from the wings of males and workers of the five species gave three eigenvalues greater than one, which explained 81.34% of the variation among the groups. The variable 6X was the one that influenced the first factor most; alone, it explained 47.91% of the variability among the groups. Variable 10X influenced the second factor most; it explained 24.24% of the variability. The mean configurations of the landmark positions of each of the groups can be found in Table 1.
