Costing Analyst Job Duties:
- Knowledgeable of cost accounting related to manufacturing.
- Calculate monitor and maintain Costing both Actual and Standard
- Conduct inventory control and work closely with the production and warehouse to ensure inventory transaction and others e.g. aging inventory
- Manage monthly closing from manufacturing module, Account reconciliation stock control
- Preparing and Analysing usage variance report on a monthly basis
- Preparing inventory turnover and costing variance report on a monthly basis
- Special projects and ad hoc account analysis as necessary
- Efficiency rate analysis for labor hours rate
- Scrap review
- Update bill of material standard costs
- Provide quarterly review & audit schedules and support for external audits
- Maintain standard cost, prepare production variance analysis
- Work closely with material control team to implement effective cycle count and annual physical inventory count
- Ensure all accounting / financial reporting standard, Thai legislative requirements, other local requirements
- Prepare account reconciliations and adjustment and coordinate with related to company policy
- Review plant spending and compare with budget including provide valuable comments for items to focus
- Prepare data to be audited and minimize audit exposures
- Liaises with external auditors in concluding year-end entries adjustments.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- 0-2 yrs. experience in cost accounting related to manufacturing; having experience in Standard Cost Setting, Cost Variance Analysis
- Proficient with MS office, especially MS Excel intermediate to advance level skills.
- Familiarity with advanced accounting software and cost management software, if possible
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills
