without the use of a heterogeneous catalyst, using Aspen Plus. Their
results showed it was possible to decrease the energy consumption
by half for the supercritical process working at subcritical conditions
(150 C and 20 MPa) with the use of a heterogeneous catalyst
that allows decreasing the molar ratio to 15:1.
