At T1 the children nominated an average of 0.96 bullies, the minimum
number of nominations given was 0 (65%) and the maximum number of
nominations given to someone was 13. At T2 the participants nominated an
average of 0.80 bullies and the bully nominations ranged between 0 (65%)
and 11. For each child, a peer-nomination score was calculated: the number
of nominations for each child was summed, divided by the number of classmates
completing the questionnaire and multiplied by a hundred. Thus, the
nomination score shows the percentage of classmates who nominate each
student as a bully—the higher the score, the higher peer-reputation as a
bully. The nomination scores at T1 ranged from 0% to 59% of the classmates
with a mean score was 4.3%. At T2 the nomination scores also ranged from
0 to 59% with a mean score of 4.2%. A paired sample t-test revealed no
significant change in level of peer-nominations between T1 and T2 on the
individual level (p = .526).
