Tony is a quite a timid student and speaks quietly, so it is hard to hear her at times. She opened up a little more as the course went on and her confidence grew. In turn this led to her improving her pronunciation, especially her word stress and ‘l/r’ pronunciation. She now needs to focus more on her ‘schwa’ sound and vowel sounds. Her writing has improved as well, especially her future tense and email closing expressions. However, she needs to work harder on her use of articles and ‘to + infinitive’ as she usually puts the ‘to’ in the wrong place or leaves it out altogether.
