As a result, numbers of researchers pay attention to the singlephase
white-light-emitting phosphor for a UV-pumped white-light
LED, which can meet the optimum luminescence properties. Phosphate
compounds are applied to prepare phosphors in recent years
owing to excellent thermal stability and charge stabilization compared
to other oxide phosphors [6]. Furthermore, Mn2+ ions have a
wide-range emission from green to red, depending upon the crystal
field of the matrix [7]. Although the emission of Mn2+ is weak due to
its forbidden transition, the emission intensity can be improved
with Eu2+ andMn2+ co-doping in phosphor, in which Eu2+ is an effective
sensitizer that can provide efficient energy transfer to Mn2+ [8].
