I hope you are enjoying your weekend. They give you a chance to catch up on chores and recreation. But I used to work all the time and hardly had time to take care of my home or anything else. I was a detective in the narcotics division. The drug dudes don't keep regular hours so we couldn't either. It seemed that I was always out doing something. At that time, I lived with a woman that I was engaged to. Her father and brother were also cops and had brought me into the job. So she grew up with the way that cops have little time for family life. Cops have the highest divorce rates ans suicide rates of any profession. She was a school principle and that kept her very busy too so we hardly saw each other. We owned a house together and I had to hire people to take care of the yards and stuff. I lived in Buffalo New York then. That place gets more snow than anywhere else. I'm talking measurements in feet rather than inches. It was a real problem to keep my drive way clear. Being a cop was very dangerous at times and really boring most of the time. I have many stories about it but don't want to bore you. I will send you a video of last years bad snowfall in Buffalo so you can see what I mean. Unbelievable. I'm so glad to not be there any more. I actually am only about 250 miles away but our winters here are different. Still snow but not as much as Buffalo. I hope you have time to watch the movies I sent. Wish I was there to hold your hand.
