Hey! Wait up!"
Sealand called out for the millionth time, looking for his "older brother" England. "Wait for me you big meanie head! You can't just abandon me!" He tried to run after him, but grew tired and less hopeful after awhile.
The Indian jungles were no place for those who were new to adventure and true danger. England had forbidden Sealand, but Sealand still managed to sneak into his luggage and make it past security. Once they were here, England soon learned about his little stowaway. Since that moment, England treated him like trash, uncaring. Going into the jungle as part of a tour, England hadn't even bothered to really watch Sealand. So when Sealand tripped and got a bit behind, England didn't notice. Just like that, Sealand got lost in the middle of what seemed to be nowhere.
Sealand was still a child. 12 years old, almost 13, but still a child. He kicked a stick on the ground in frustration, annoyed with England as he sat on a large rock. "Stupid, dumb, old, ARGH!" Sealand stomped his feet on the dirt until he began to cry, tears streaming from his red face.
"I WANT TO GO HOME, AND I HATE INDIA, A-AND I HATE ENGLAND, AND I-I-I..." Sealand sobbed, terrified and lonely. Poor thing didn't have a clue what to do.
Up above, in a tree nearby, a very large creature watched the child's every move. Kaa, the Indian python, had been waiting for something like this to happen for quite some time. Such a hungry snake he was, and he was now prepared to trick a little man-cub into becoming his meal. A hissy chuckle coming from him, Kaa slithered down the tree, wanting to get a little closer.
Sealand was perfectly oblivious to the snake in the trees, and hugged his knees tightly to his chest, trying to quiet himself down. "I-I hate him...bloody...b-bloody wanker of a brother..."
"There, there, little one..." Comforted a disembodied voice.
Sealand's eyes shot open, and he snapped to attention. "H-Huh? Who are you?" He tried to appear fierce, wiping away his tears. "I can beat you up if you're a bully!"
Kaa snickered at the child's attempts to threaten him. "No~ I'm not a bully~ I'm a friend~"
Sealand paused, cocking his head in confusion. "Who are you then? And why can't I see you?" He inquired, curious to know just who this person was.
"My name is Kaa~ It's alright~ Calm down~ I'm here to help you~"
Sealand's eyes widened in happiness, and he smiled. "Really? Can you get me home?"
Kaa paused before a wide grin spread across his face. "Yes~ I'll get you right home, and keep you very safe and happy forever~" He turned over to his stomach, thinking of the somewhat truth in his words.
"Yay!" Sealand cheered, happy and bubblier than ever. "Can't I see you? Pretty please?"
"Yes, little mancub~ Now, shut your eyes~" Kaa cooed, slithering closer to Sealand.
Sealand obeyed, shutting his eyes and staying perfectly still. "You're going to take me home after I see you, right?"
"Of course~ I promise~" Kaa lied, getting even closer, and was now right at Sealand's face, hypnotic eyes showing their colors. "Now, open your eyes~"
Sealand nodded, opening his eyes before gasping, unable to look away from the display in front of him. "Pretty..." He mumbled, jaw dropping in both surprise and laziness.
Kaa grinned, smacking his lips and starting to coil his new prey up. "Yesssss~ Look deep into my eyessss~ Do not resssisssst the sssssweet feeling of relaxssssation~" He instructed in a soothing voice, making sure he was perfectly coiled up to his neck, giving him some light constriction.
Sealand could not think of or see anything but the colors in Kaa's eyes. He yawned, a sleepy sensation going through his body. Sealand hadn't had much sleep here, and this was the perfect chance to take a nice, well deserved nap. His eyes echoed the colors, and they drooped, begging to rest. These were the perfect conditions for sleep.
Kaa brought him closer, foreheads touching as Sealand fell deeper into his spell. "Yesssss~ Sssssleep~ Go to ssssssleep~ No more thoughtsssss~ No more sssssadnessssss~ Just ssssssleep~"
Sealand felt his entire mind go blank, and his whole body went limp. Finally, a giant smile came to him, and a ping went off in his head. "Mmmmmmmmm..."
Kaa hissed, happy to have won a meal, and started to carry Sealand into the trees with him. "Yesssss~ Relaxssss~ I'm getting very hungry, mancub~ What should I eat~?"
Sealand yawned, drooling a little. "Anything you want..." Sealand answered in a monotone voice. "You're my friend..."
Pathetic child. He still thought Kaa was going to help him. Kaa used his tail to brush some of Peter's hair back, talking in a soft, soothing voice. "Hmmm~ Well, now you should ssssssleep~ I know you're very tired..." Suddenly Kaa realized he didn't know this child's name. "Tell me your name, mancub~"
"Sealand...or Peter..." Sealand said, groggy words quieter and nearly a whisper. He was very sleepy now. He wanted sleep so badly. "Call me either one...I don't mind...mmmmmm..."
Kaa loved to see Sealand so sleepy and helpless. "Well, Sssssealand, it's time to go to sssssleep~ I'll be there to protect you while you ressssst~ And I'll take you home, where you'll be sssssafe and sssssound~"
Sealand gave one last big yawn before his eyes shut and he nuzzled his surroundings. "Okay...night night..." He then doze off, small, cute snores coming from him.
Kaa opened his jaw wide, and rose up Sealand. "Sssssuch an innocent little mancub you are~ Don't worry, I'll take you right to where you belong..." He drooled a little, lowering Sealand down to his mouth. "My ssssstomach~
