‘HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,’ Min Ho was clutching his stomach, laughing so hard at a meme of himself crying because Shin Hye and Woo Bin hugged at the awards show. ‘Ya, daebak. These people are so funny!’ Min Ho said, wiping his eyes from laughing too much.
‘I know. When I saw this fan café, I couldn’t believe they took all the effort to make these memes,’ she replied.
‘My manager told me not to look at these stuff. I didn’t know they’d be so funny. And sweet,’ he told her. ‘See? There are people who actually want us to date. They’re practically begging us to date!’
‘Let’s say 10% of your fans are okay with you dating me, but what about the other 90%? My fans are much more forgiving than yours,’ Shin Hye turned to him.
Min Ho shrugged. ‘From now on, these people are my favorite fans.’
They came across the video that Shin Hye has already seen several times. She scrolled down fast.
‘Oh. What was that? Go back, go back,’ Min Ho said.
‘Huh? It’s just a random video. Probably,’ she replied innocently.
‘How come there were so many replies? Just go back, let’s watch it.’
Shin Hye closed her eyes for a bit before scrolling up.
‘Hmm. It’s a video of our storage room kiss,’ he said. ‘Wait. It’s a slowed down version? Come on, play it.’
She hesitated. That video was a bit intense. But since Min Ho kept insisting, she played it anyway. Then started the most awkward 2 minutes of her life.
She was trying to keep a straight face as they watched the video. She wanted to move, but it seemed her body just froze. She stole a glance at Min Ho who was watching intensely, then swallowed. Biting her lip, she noticed her heart race, calm down, calm down. The clip hasn’t finished.Damn it. She saw the bit when Min Ho leaned in for one last kiss. That was her favorite part. Then she saw herself look flushed on screen and remembered how shocked she felt when they were shooting.
When the video ended, she cleared her throat. ‘Uhh..’
Min Ho didn’t give her a chance to speak and cupped her chin and pulled her face close. Shin Hye was startled as he gently kissed her. She closed her eyes, and her laptop in the process. His lips felt soft and tender moving over hers. She kissed him right back, parting her mouth slightly and following the motion of his lips. She felt his hand travel to the back of her neck and his fingers lace through her hair as he deepened the kiss. She knew his other hand was busy getting the laptop from her lap and out of the way. She heard a thud on the floor but she didn’t care. Still kissing her, he leaned in and used his body to slowly push Shin Hye to lie on her back. Instinctively, she put her arms around his neck. She hasn’t felt the need to be close to someone that way before. She felt his chest rise and fall as he breathed, and whiffed the scent of his hair and perfume. She kissed him even more passionately.
Min Ho pulled away and looked at her briefly before his kisses travelled down from her lips to her neck. Shin Hye whimpered faintly at the sensation. He slowly put his hand at the back of her waist as he kissed her on the lips again. He parted her mouth with his tongue, in turn, Shin Hye sighed audibly. As things were getting hotter, Shin Hye lifted Min Ho’s shirt and touched his bare lower back with her hands. Min Ho shuddered at her touch and pulled her more toward him and kissed her fiercely.
The shrill of Shin Hye’s phone ringing cut the silence. Shin Hye opened her eyes and pushed herself up slightly. ‘Don’t answer it,’ Min Ho whispered, kissing her again. She moved her face away, and Min Ho opened his eyes, his breathing ragged. He saw Shin Hye looking up at him, flushed. She gave him a smile.
‘I didn’t know this happens in real life, too,’ she said.
Min Ho let out a laugh and sat up, trying to even his breathing. ‘One day, I’m going to throw that phone away,’ he said. Shin Hye giggled as she sat up and grabbed her phone from the coffee table.
‘Neh, Joon oppa. 7 A.M.? Arasso. I’ll see you tomorrow. Hmm,’ she hung up and looked at Min Ho who was massaging his temples while slightly smiling. ‘Mian, oppa,’ she smiled apologetically before leaning in and giving Min Ho a kiss on the cheek. ‘I’m pissed, too.’
He faced her and sulked. ‘So I really have to go now, don’t I?’
Shin Hye nodded her head shyly. ‘Sorry.’
He sighed as he stood up and walked to the door, while Shin Hye followed. As they stood facing each other in front of the door, Shin Hye hugged his waist and looked up at him. He leaned his head on her forehead.
‘Do I really have to…’
Shin Hye silenced him with a little peck. ‘Oppa…you and me, let’s not be greedy,’ she let go of him and opened the door. ‘I’ll miss you.'
Min Ho smiled warmly and stepped out. He gave her a little wave before finally leaving. Shin Hye closed the door and leaned on the wall.
‘Damn it,’ she muttered as she put her hands on her cheeks and exhaled. She headed to her room, smiling.
