Your literature says to allow for joint movement. Originally with economy in mind, it was intended to have the square edge joints butt, unfilled and any temporary
driving rain penetration to self-drain down and ventilate naturally. We wish the Versapanel to be maintenance-free as much as possible and for joints to line up with
the faceglass joints. We prefer not to paint the Versapanel to save cost and not to add to site program. Would you recommend: -
(a) Use beveled joints or interlocking rebated edge joints (latter increases thickness)?
(b) Or seal the board joints? In which case would painting be necessary?
