Assessment of the generated weave pattern
The evaluation criteria of the resulting weave pattern are the
same as for the evaluation of the patterns produced by any other
method. Special attention should be paid to the appearance of
the fabric and the floating of the yarns.
In most cases, the generated ‘musical’ weave pattern will have
a weft appearance. There is a risk of getting long weft floats that
would make the fabric unstable. If monotonous or simple melody
is used as ‘inspiration’, a weft thread may never interlace with
the warp set.
