Abstract— Mobile technologies and devices are being upgraded
at an enormous speed. The market offers a variety of mobile
devices and a number of different technologies. At this moment,
wireless communication technology is one of the most popular
and important communications in mobile technologies area.
However, the growth of this technology not fully utilized as a
mobile robot controller. The field of robotics includes various
sectors such as factory sector, manufacturing and security. These
papers describe research and investigation on mobile robot
controller via mobile technologies. The most important in this
paper is to compare the data transferring technique for mobile
robot controller. Among the techniques in this study were Data
Oriented Transfer Service (DOT), Distributed Parallel Storage
System (DPSS), GridFTP and Black-Bus.
For future work, we propose the development of mobile
robot controller via mobile technology which is 3G technology.
The results of this research are expected to provide benefits to
consumers and mobile device manufacturers to optimize the
usability of mobile devices.
