Analysis advertise
In the Coca-Cola ad the first thing consumers will notice is the colors and how it is incorporated in the image. This ad uses primary, secondary, and a few neutral colors all exploding out of a Coke bottle and in the middle is a woman’s happy smiling face. With an image such as this presented to a person, each element added to the picture exudes a sort of happy feeling which the consumer would want to feel. The happy face plays a part in drawing in a person by suggesting that the woman is smiling because the product is really good. The colors and the smile plays with a persons emotional side by also making them want to smile and feel uplifted. As a result many people would want to buy the product because of the feeling the ad bestows.
In addition to the fun mixture of colors illustrated, the line “live on the coke side of life” is also shown with the word “Coke” being bigger than the rest if the words in the sentence. This line is placed across the middle of the bottle under the colors. The message indicates the use of the bandwagon propaganda which the advertisers used to basically tell the consumer to join their side, as if the product itself will add some sort of enrichment to their life. The bandwagon strategy gives people a focus on how many other people are joining and that they should not get left behind. Hereby, essentially trying to convince consumers to buy and try the product because the coke way of life is better.
