As you know there are about 10,000 items running in the SAP but 60% of those are non-active. When purchasing run SAP reports, we cannot segregate the non-active from active group. This wastes time and consumes SAP database space, unnecessarily.
So, it is necessary to ask planners to list the non -active (obsolete) materials in the template as shown below, for IT to block it.
Thereafter, the blocked items would not be retrieved from SAP.
