Using convenience sampling, 222 health and support workers
were invited to participate and 206 agreed to do so (a
response rate of 93%). Of these, 162 were health (nurses,
doctors and therapists) and 44 support (health care assistants,
technical service assistants, workmen, porters and cleaners)
