men than women.1 Lower educational level8 and
unstable employment9 are risk factors against homicide
deaths. Living alone, singlehood and social isolation
increase the probability of becoming a victim
of homicide.10 Alcohol consumption11 and drug
use12 were reported to be directly associated with
fatal injuries, premature unnatural deaths and
homicide deaths.
