and sleep evaluations (i.e., degree of alertness, degree of feeling rested, and sleep quality) of the previous day. In addition, mothers were asked to report what woke them up during bedtime. Eleven of them (20%) woke up because ofthe need to pump breast milk. Mothers who did or did not pump breast milk did not differ in any of the sleep measures examined in
this study.
