Terms and conditions;-
All animals supplied are sold under the following conditions:-
1) The prices of all animals are FOB. OR Tambo or Lanseria International Airports.
2) Animals will be moved into the quarantine pens on receipt of a deposit amounting to 30% of the agreed FOB price. This deposit is only refundable if Savanna Game Services is unable to supply the animals listed on the contract, and in terms of conditions agreed to in the contract. The balance is payable when the Air Waybill is issued.
3) Game animals supplied will be sub-adults. If required adult animals will be supplied, crating and airfreight is then more expensive.
4) The FOB price includes the following:-
a) The animal.
b) A shipping crate suitable for the species, and complying with IATA and local rules.
c) A holding time in the quarantine pens of up to 60 days. Should the animals need to be held for a longer period, a daily charge will be levied.
d) The animals will be treated for internal and external parasites with internationally recognised products suitable for the purpose.
e) All other health tests required will be carried out according to the country of destination’s protocol. The costs of performing these tests will charged at the cost price of the official laboratory.
f) Should the animal consignment require to be accompanied by a veterinarian, the cost of this service will be US $ 500 per day, plus all travelling, accommodation and related costs. Even if accompanied by a veterinarian from Savanna Game Services, the terms of the supply of the animals remains FOB.
5) Prices quoted for animals that are “mass crated” are per animal for a full pallet. If the number of each species supplied is less than can be exactly divided into the number packed per pallet, an extra crate cost will be added.
6) The supply of animals is dependent on the issue of both Nature Conservation Permits, and Veterinary Import Permits by authorities of the country of destination.
