Your “who” are going to want to pay for your “what” when it’s an ideal and obvious match for their needs. So, you now simply need to decide how you’re going to accept their money. Newbies in business who haven’t yet had that precious first client often haven’t thought through what will actually happen when someone wants to pay them.
So, practise with a friend and again, get literal. Imagine the person in front of you is ready to pay for your yoga class or design service. How do they literally do that? Do they pass you a wad of cash? Do they need an email with your bank details so they can make a transfer? Do they receive a PayPal invoice from you, or are they sent a link to the Buy Now button on your site?
It’s time to get clear on these three simple basics of running your business. It can then become easy – and highly enjoyable – to make money doing what you love.
