Job Description:
Responsibilities
You will oversee the operations of the whole blood donation and provide quality care to donors and assist the Nurse Manager in administration, supervision, teaching and nursing care.
You will also perform specialised blood component collection procedures from blood donors using sophisticated cell separator (apheresis) equipment in the Apheresis Programme and participate in the treatment of patients using apheresis procedures.
In the absence of the Nurse Manager, you will also assume responsibilities for day-to-day operations of the unit.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Nursing and is registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience for Senior Staff Nurse position, of which preferably 2 years are in similar capacity
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience for Staff Nurse position
Willing to work staggered hours, weekends and public holidays
Highly motivated with a desire to protect public health and safety
Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Able to lead and supervise junior nursing personnel
Proficient in Microsoft Office Application
