In view of looming ubiquitous threats, an upsurge in
Android security research is taking place. Majority Android
security proposals are anomaly-based detections, commencing
with a training proceeded by a detection phase. The training
phase helps detectors learn the normal behavior, which grants a
potential to detect formerly unknown attacks. Nonetheless,
template-based detections, which model known malicious
behavior, have also been considered to feasibly detect attacks
which have natures similar to PC attacks.
