>> I am very disappointed for the following reasons.
>> 1. The medical staff at the hospital and the insurance staff discussed this case and, when I spoke to the insurance representative by telephone from Bumrungrad at the time Brenda was to check out, they had accepted the cost of the services as an emergency/accident. Given we drove directly from our vacation spot, where Brenda fell down the stairs to the hospital, this was done under the doctor's order and this was treated as an emergency.
>> 2. The approval to pay for the treatment was already given. Why then do they take it back now? And why does it take so many weeks for them, when they received all the documents, stamped and compiled by the hospital?
>> I share my disappointment also because I did not ask for any assistance from the insurance, given pregnancy is not covered. But I thought that accidents and emergencies are.
>> This appears not to be the case.
>> Lastly, I feel our insurance coverage is substandard and until now, every item we have put through to them has come back as non refundable. This leaves me and Brenda to have virtually no medical insurance coverage.
>> Thank you again, I look forward to hearing from the insurance about my inputs and to also receive the original medical file back from them as soon as possible.
