Before the income statement and balance sheet of the Company were made out, the directors took reasonable steps to ascertain whether any current assets, other than debts, were unlikely to realise in the ordinary course of business their value as shown in the accounting records of the Company and to the extent so ascertained were written down to an amount that might be expected to realise.
