Simon Samaan
Co-Founder, Internships Thailand
After having gratuated in Accounting, Simon started his career working for some of the biggest blue chip companies such as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Shell Oil and Philips. He then decided to found his own company named ISPC, which stands for International Student Placement Center and aimed to facilitating internships for international students in Australia. After having successfully leveraged the company to a AUD 2 millions revenue and 25 permanent staff members, Simon sold the company to Australia's biggest university, the Monarch University.
He then moved to Thailand to pursue a career in the media business, first working as the General Manager of NewspaperDirect in Phuket, and then creating his own newspaper, The Phuket News, Phuket's #1 English newspaper, completed in October 2011 by the creation of Live 89.5 FM, a 24/7 English radio station.ailand on demand.
