Three groups of samples were
prepared in total: an uncoated group (Control), one coated only with
pullulan coating (P) and experimental one coatedwith pullulan coating
containing SBE (P+ SBE). Each group included thirty apples. The samples
were stored in open boxes in two different sets of conditions: at
16 ± 1 °C RH 55–60% for 14 days, and at 2 ± 1 °C, RH 70–75% for
30 days in refrigerators of the Department of Biotechnology and Food
Microbiology (WULS-SGGW, Poland).
