said. "These men could be dangero us!"

As Fizza smiled, she noti ced th at the kidnappers' boat was
really close now, She still wasn't sure what was going to happ en
when it arrived. The re could be lot s more men ! However, just
as it arrived on the beach, the boat was flooded" with a very
br ight light.
"Stop! This is the police! Turn off your engine!" a voice
sho uted th rou gh a lou dspeaker.
The bright light came from four po lice boats which had
arr ived very qu ietly in the darkwate r and completely sur prised
the kidnap pers. The police boats made a circle around them
and they had no way of escape,
"It looks like our Sark policeman asked hi s friends from
Guernsey to come:' said Richard . "He said he would when
I c.tlled him."
Fizza looked at Fletcher and smiled.
"OK. Country Cowboy?"
"Not bad, Bullring Kid:' he replied. "Not bad ."

'Ihe next da y was a good day and a bad one, It was good
because Fizza and Fletcher had helped catch the horse th ieves.
And th is had made them local heroes" . However, it was bad
because it was the last day of Pizza's vacation. It was almost a
joke - two weeks ago she had n't wanted to come to Sark and
now she didn't want to leave it!
