Consolidated feedback from the team as follow :-
1) All the orchids concepts are out of brief hence we have to reject them
2) Option one has an incomplete winning man, the man looks amputated in this layout. We would prefer the winning man to be depicted in its entirety to bring out the celebration feel. As briefed, they should keep to SEAG colour palette, they can choose to drop colours if they do not need all 6 colours but please do not introduce new colours. Now when we put the two logos next to each other, they definitely do not look like a family
3) The design now looks very open with no anchor or focus point, all elements are fighting for attention at the same time
4) Some suggestions for them to try :-
1) Keep to similar shape as SEAG logo, retain the winning man in the ctr, replace the 4 sporting icons to 2 para sports icons, one on each side of the winning athlete
2) Keep the winning athlete at the foreground, try the holding hands in celebrations icons at the background
3) Explore a half sphere instead of the full circle
As a recap, please see the briefing points below :-
1) Keep to the same design style
2) Keep to the same typography – tendria
3) Keep to the same colour scheme (if designer wish to simplify the colours, must at least keep the gold, pink & blue colours)
4) Keep the winning man in the centre of the logo
5) Remove the sporting icons
6) Design – show inclusiveness
7) Retain the Singapore 2015 on the finishing line
8) Change the event name accordingly
