Parameters of raw water quality were globally different for the two
regions studied. Significant differences were observed for turbidity,
chlorophyll A and bromide, mostly associated with geographical differences.
The systems in NL are located near the shore; consequently salt
intrusion in these water sources probably affects bromide concentrations
in raw water.
