coal-fired power station for heat recovery and flue gas
cleaning have the same potential problems which occur
in biomass mono-combustion discussed above. An
additional problem is that due to the high temperature
no fan can be installed between the external combustion
chamber and the suspension burner. Therefore, the flue
gas has to be sucked due to the partial vacuum into the
boiler of the suspension burner. This necessitates a wide
diameter of the flue gas pipe from the biomass-fired
combustor to the coal fired boiler.
