Rhizoctonia sheath blight of rice and Rhizoctonia leaf blight of corn and durian were collected
from Ayutthaya, Nakhon Ratchasima and Chanthaburi provinces, respectively. For isolation
technique, the tissue transplanting method was employed using 10% sodium hypochloride and the
infected tissue was placed on 1/2 strength potato dextrose agar (PDA) in a petri-dish. They were
incubated at 28oC for a few days. The hyphal tip was trasferred to slant PDA and maintain as pure
culture for identification and antagonistic activity tests.
