Cholera epidemic hits Liberia
Monrovia A cholera epidemic has killed more than 5000 people in an inaccessible area of northern Liberia, a health official said on Monday.
Health ministry official James Mullah, who led a team which visited the stricken Belle district of Loaf County, said the disease was particularly affecting pregnant women and babies.
