Respected stuntman dies
Thailand’s highly respected stuntman and fight choreographer Panna Rittikrai died on July 20 at the age of 53 from a blood infection and liver disease complications.
A strong, wiry man, Panna had worked on more than 70 movies since the late 1980s. He pioneered the school of low-budget B-movies that featured high-risk stunt choreography, explosions and car chases, making his name from titles such as Kerd Ma Lui. The funeral rite and cremation were held at Nual Jan Temple at the end of July.
