From car navigation to "car communication"
Car navigation displays are becoming more and more important not only as a means of enjoying multimedia content, but also as HMI (human-machine interfaces) connecting people, vehicles and society. An example is exchanging real-time information from other car navigation systems to determine which roads are congested, what weather conditions are like, and so on.
Car navigations can connect with mobile phones using wireless technology to share content without stress. Driving can be made smoother through a combination of millimeter-wave radar data and car navigation data.
Car navigation systems will become information stations connecting people, vehicles and society.
We are forging a new paradigm for car navigation systems that is beyond what anyone imagined.
